Inna Di Dance is a fun, lively, playful, celebration of Caribbean cultures and languages, positive island vibes, provocative lyrics, and a fusion of various musical genres and is the newest fire from Raspire Music.

Reggae is an evolving music form arising from a need for identity, respect, recognition, acceptance and love. Inna Di Dance is Jamaican patois for "in the party" and in staying true to the essence of reggae, it seeks to bring people together to have a good time, a real feel good time. This album takes reggae music forward by infusing and cross breeding the Jamaican genre with different, more global genres while maintaining the core island and dancehall vibes. It's upbeat, high energy and vibrant music that is bound to make you move, groove and lose control.

The goal of this album was to make positive music to lift spirits and build positive vibes. Inna Di Dance is an "old meets new" type of reggae-we simplified the number of instruments and mixed vocals similar to old school dancehall while also utilizing new, fresh synths and melodies to reflect the age of colliding cultures. Lyrically, you can expect the same positive message that we challenge ourselves to stay true to.

Admittedly, Inna Di Dance is loaded with sexy, edgy and provocative undertones, but such is the nature of Caribbean culture that Raspire's Superpride represents. There’s still no cursing or explicit content advisory so it can be played anywhere-from your car, in the gym, at the BBQ, at work, at the pre-party and in the party …(you get the point)


We went back to the basement to produce Inna Di Dance. All tracks were written, recorded and mixed in our own house with few live instruments. No fancy studio or high priced engineers; just the Raspire Superpride (Calico, KC Fire and Richieruff) experimenting with different sounds and getting it on our own. Thus, the name Superpride.

Superpride is the new age concrete jungle lions making a lot out of a little. We’re building our dynasty, Raspire Music, one hit, one show, one fan at a time. Everything from writing and producing songs, to getting our music on iTunes and spreading the word on Facebook is organized and done by us. No big label or major budget spending but we hope to prove that with the right condition, mindset and supporters, independent, island music culture can be taken to higher heights.

The Raspire Movement has a few affiliates that are cut from the same cloth musically and spiritually and when we connect, it’s pure fire. Ras Isses has always been a supporter of Calico and Raspire. Once, the Raspire Superpride and Isses got in the studio, the result was non-stop musical energy that resulted in 3 hit tunes on Inna Di Dance. Ras Isses, respect forever due.
